Olarewaju Gloria Iyanuoluwa (B. 18, Nov, 1995) is an evocative portrait artist whose artistic journey is as bold and transformative as the works she creates. Born and raised in Nigeria, Gloria holds a degree in Microbiology, yet found her true calling beyond the scientific realm. Embracing her passion, she transitioned into the world of art full-time, forging a unique path as a painter deeply connected to her roots.
Initially a self-taught pencil artist, Gloria honed her skills through commissioned works, meticulously capturing the essence of her subjects. In early 2023, she embarked on a new chapter, embracing oil painting to further explore her artistic voice. This medium, combined with her focus on portraiture, allows her to delve deeply into the complexities of human emotions, thoughts, and the cultural narratives that shape her identity.
