Hollow thoughts
Binding love
Hope I don’t fail you
Everything you couldn’t be
Now passed down to me
Outliving your dreams
But in my own skin
I’m weary of mistakes
Mistakes I shouldn’t make
But be that as it may
I’m going to give all it takes.
Does it matter or not where time flies?
How long will I stay
Hidden beneath your lies
Tossed around in this darkness of mine
Veiled with the masks of our lives.
Freedom has become a snare
And I can do nothing but stare
